Seems like Hawass found someone to pay him to shit
on Joann Fletcher....

His entire basis for ruling out the "young woman" from
KV35 was the absence of a bent arm.

They affirmed many of Fletcher's other conclusions...
that it was an 18th dynasty royal... that she was
murdered... that she was in fact a she...

Hawass had previously said it was a male, did he not?
Yes. Yes he did.

Anyway, what didn't they do?

DNA testing! If the "young woman" from KV35 was in
fact that mother of Tutankhamun -- as was speculated --
they would have to share the same mtDNA.

Technically, that wouldn't "prove" the case, I know, but
it could rule it out as a possibility.

Too bad that real science, real egyptology has to take
a back seat to egos....

I have met Hawass and found him to be very honorable and easy to talk to. I
think that you did not watch the same program that I did.

Although you certainly CAN tell if someone is easy to
talk to just by meeting them, I'm not sure how you
might go about detecting & measuring their honor.

Could you explain?

I think that you did not watch the same program that I did.
Perhaps you didn't notice, but you're simply contradicting
me, and not very well.

I said that his case against Joann Fletcher's conclusion
was entirely based on the lack of a bent arm.

Do you dispute this? If so, why are you not taking your meds?

I said that Hawass had previously claimed that the mummy
was male. He did.

I said that Hawass' newest anti-Fletcher conclusion could
easily be tested with mtDNA, that if the mummy is indeed
the mother of Tutankhamun the two would have to share the
same mtDNA.

Am I right? Absolutely!

Personally, with everyone concluding that the "young woman"
was murdered, I would initially suspect that the mummy is
of Ankhesenamun. That would be my first guess. Why? Because
pretty much everyone suspects why was murdered my Ay.

This "guess" could be easily disproven (or strengthened) by
comparing mtDNA between the "young woman" and one of
the fetuses found in Tutankhamun's tomb.
